Description: Sarah was a third generation Christian, born 2 months before WW 11. She graduated from a Tokyo Presbyterian college and became a stewardess for Northwest Japanese Airlines. She moved to Seattle to fly internationally. The American stewardesses threatened the Japanese girls. She married a man from Anchorage after 2 years and lived there 39 years. She taught Japanese in college and bilingual classes for 25 years. After 37 years she and her husband moved to Tulsa because he liked the Wannemaker Knife Show. Today she lives at Methodist Manor where she takes fitness classes and teaches classes in several areas herself. Sarah describes the Japanese Doll's Day and her wildlife experiences in Alaska. After 50 years she became a U. S. citizen. She claims 3 communities: Japan, Anchorage, and Tulsa.
