Description: Gloria's mother Irma Rankin Johnson Richey came to Oklahoma in 1910 as a child. She was a nurse and Rosie the Riveter. She raised 5 children and was private nurse to Mr. and Mrs. Mayo and Mr. and Mrs. William Skelly. Gloria's brother Earl Rankin Johnson was a bolson's mate (gunner) on the USS Indianapolis on its last run to deliver the bomb to Titianian Island before it was dropped on Hiroshima. Earl did not come home from that mission. Gloria remembers her employment at Mapco and Williams Companies and the Corporate Challenge.
