Description: Gene Callahan tells of his move from Virginia to Oklahoma to serve in Vocational and Technical Educational Training. He moved to Tulsa in 1985 and has seen changes in naming the program and in its offerings to students. He explains the funding and districts and different names for programs. Gene retired as Superintendent and CEO of the Tulsa County Area VoTech System in 2008. A former drafting student sent him a note about the success the career program offered him.
