Description: Judy LaFrance is a volunteer at Oxley Nature Center. The "Riddle of the Woods" is an interpretive method. She leads school groups on a Botany Walk to discover secrets of nature. Judy tells about the other programs offered at Oxley. Red Bud Valley is also managed by the Oxley organization. Good weather Saturdays bring about 300 people to both Oxley Nature Center and Red Bud Valley. Judy tells about supporters of the nature programs, donors, and workers. She mentions historical parts of the Mohawk Park system. Some of the people who have helped establish and preserve this wonderful city refuge are: Dick Sherry, the Oxley family, Wally Whaleny, Tom Clark, and Harriet Barkley.
