Leta M. Chapman and Pauline M. Walter, the daughters of oilman Robert McFarlin, were philanthropists whose generosity continues to be lavished on Tulsa.  Their commitment to the arts and education has left a legacy benefiting every institution in the city.  As women of the highest personal standards, they were devoted to the establishment of an equally high quality of life for their city.

David Randolph Milsten was inducted into the Tulsa Hall of Fame in 1994

David Randolph Milsten has played a central role in the intellectual development of Tulsa.  A practicing attorney for over sixty-five years, he is also a published poet, author and historian.  His leadership in establishing Gilcrease Museum and the City-County Library System has provided a cultural foundation unique to Tulsa.

Warren C. Hultgren was inducted into the Tulsa Hall of Fame in 1994

Warren C. Hultgren is known as “the minister’s minister.”  His tenure as pastor of the First Baptist Church was marked not only in the growth of his congregation, but also in the spiritual growth of the city at large.  His compassion, tolerance and fairness have transcended divisions of denominations and faiths.

Jeanne & Edward Goodwin, Sr. were inducted into the Tulsa Hall of Fame in 1994

Jeanne B. and Edward L. Goodwin, Sr. were leaders in the effort to secure equal opportunities for all Tulsans.  In their role as the publishers of The Oklahoma Eagle, they provided a forum in which issues affecting north Tulsa could be publicly aired.  They have earned a national reputation for their pursuit of justice and their steadfast commitment to the community.

Betty Buell Bradstreet was inducted into the Tulsa Hall of Fame in 1994

Betty Buell Bradstreet is music to art lovers’ ears.  She has worked to secure funding to nurture the complete spectrum of Tulsa’s arts and humanities organizations.  Whether in the position of event chairman, or simply as one of a legion of volunteers, she has been there for Tulsa when the city needed her.
