Carrie Chapman Catt was president of NAWSA, the National American Woman Suffrage Association, in 1920 when the 19th amendment became part of the U.S. constitution. This living history performance includes three-parts: 1) an in-character, “back-in-time” monologue (30 minutes), 2) an in-character question and answer session (10-20 minutes), and 3) a question and answer session with the scholar, about creating the character and things that occurred after the character died (10-20 minutes).
Dr. Deleasa Randall-Griffiths is a Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Ashland University and Director of the Online Communication Studies Program.
