How do I get my Museum Day LIVE! ticket?
To get your free ticket for two, visit www.smithsonian.com/museumday/ticket. You and your guest must bring this ticket with you to get into the Tulsa Historical Society for free on September 29th.
When the Barnard Elementary School closed in 2011, the Tulsa Historical Society was given 700 photographs and documents spanning the history of the school. Following the recent tragic burning of the building, we are looking back at what was saved. Our Archivist/Curator of Collections Ian Swart spoke with numerous news stations about the importance of this collection, and the goals of the Tulsa Historical Society to keep items such as these for future generations of Tulsans.
A new exhibit of memorabilia from Barnard Elementary will be open for the rest of September. Admission is free for Barnard Alumni!
